As part of the monsoon preparations, the corporation is preparing to prepare and implement an action plan to carry out comprehensive cleaning activities in the city.
A meeting of the resident associations within the corporation limits was convened and its outline was discussed. The meeting, which was welcomed by the corporation secretary, was attended by Deputy Mayor Dr. S. Jayashree, various standing committee chairpersons VP Manoj, Sujatha Koodathingal, Vineetha Sajeev, Advocate Sarah Jaffer, council party leaders Nambidi Narayanan, Manakkal Sasi, etc. Representatives of the resident association participated in the discussion.

Ward-level meetings will be organized on April 28 and 29. Activities will be planned and implemented separately for the comprehensive cleaning of each ward.
The corporation-level activities will be launched on April 30 at the new bus stand. On May 2nd, through ward-level cleaning,
Common areas in the wards will be cleaned. One day will be set aside exclusively for comprehensive cleaning of houses and surroundings. Circle and Zonal Health Inspectors have already been instructed to coordinate the activities under the leadership of ward councilors.
